Step by step to your first scene.
- Run the Numivo installer. It detects installed Unreal versions (5.3–5.5) automatically.
- Pick your engine and click “Install plugin” — the installer copies the plugin into the engine folder.
- Start Unreal and search for “Numivo” under
Edit → Plugins, tick the box, restart the editor. - Open the panel:
Window → Numivo. The tool panel docks on the right. - First scene: drag assets into a species, pick a brush size with the mouse wheel, paint. Done.
- Run the Numivo installer. It registers the local service the Unity package talks to.
- Open Unity and launch the Package Manager:
Window → Package Manager. - Add the package: “+” → “Add package from git URL” and paste the Numivo URL (see docs).
- Open the panel:
Window → Numivo → Level Design. - First scene: select your terrain, create a species, paint. URP and HDRP are detected automatically.
