Does procedural scatter always look random?

Only when the rules are random. Believable distribution comes from clustering, terrain limits, size variation and relationships between species. Pure uniform randomness looks artificial whether it comes from a tool or a brush.

Should hero trees be placed manually?

Usually, yes. Trees that frame a vista, mark a route or shape a combat space deserve individual attention. Numivo can establish the surrounding population while the hero placements remain deliberate.

What happens when the landscape changes?

Rule-based scatter can regenerate the affected area against the new surface. A manually painted area normally needs erasing and repainting where slopes, paths, clearances or boundaries moved.

Does Numivo add runtime overhead?

The public Numivo workflow is editor-led and bakes approved results to native engine primitives. The shipped result therefore does not require a Numivo runtime dependency.
